IntroductionPerception is an athmospheric puzzle game developed in a group of 4 people. It was an exercise on prototyping a game in Unity.
Perception is about an astronaut stuck on a discontinued space station.
The puzzle aspect comes from the fact that sometimes the centrifuge works and sometimes it malfunctions, this leads to situations where the player needs to cope with having gravity or not.
What I didSince I came up with the idea for the game, I managed the team in order to get everybody on the same page and gave each assignments that fit their role.
As for work, I did most of the player movement, the physics and controls for the jetpack.
I designed and integrated the UI, the player can see its oxygen supply, and if the jetpack is enabled, the speed and throttle. Vitals are visualized as a circle. I also put together a level for the game.
