High-poly 3D model


This project was my introduction to high-poly modeling and rendering. I got to know 3ds Max and its wide variety of high-poly modeling tools for this.
I rendered in nVidia Mental Ray.

What I learned

The studied and applied the high-poly workflow, got to know procedural materials in 3ds Max and learned to properly set up a studio lighting system.
I learned how different rendering software works and what different results they yield.
I also learned how to make proper renders and do post-processing, in this case, in Photoshop.
